As a Machine Maintenance Mechanic I at Romac Industries, your primary responsibility will be to conduct preventive maintenance checks, ensuring our machinery operates at its optimal performance. Our Preventive Maintenance program is crucial to our operations, and we are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic and dedication to maintaining the highest standards. In addition to preventive maintenance, you may also collaborate with senior technicians on troubleshooting machinery and participate in special projects.

Hours: Monday-Thurs. 12:00pm-8:30pm, Fri 10:00am-6:30pm

What you’ll do:

1. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire to enhance processes for the benefit of the team and end-users.

2. Effectively manage time to ensure efficient completion of preventive maintenance checks and assigned tasks.

3. Attend meetings or programs required by plant management or regulatory identities.

What you’ll bring:

1. 2+ years of experience in a machine maintenance role or 2+ years of trade or military school related to a similar field.

2. Understanding of electro-mechanical equipment, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems.

3. Proficiency in the use of small hand tools and voltmeters for maintenance tasks

4. Ability to use basic test equipment associated with electrical and hydraulic systems.

5. Strong Written and oral communication skills

Compensation: $24.00-34.09 per hour
