Our Plant Manager is responsible for the management, coordination, and successful execution and creation of the production plan. These duties include direction and coordination of multiple production operations in a manufacturing facility through Production Supervisors and Assistant Department Supervisors. And assuring planned inventory levels are achieved and maintained while seeking opportunities to increase productivity through the elimination of waste.


Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee multiple production operations; create and implement standard operating procedures for production operations.

  2. Ensure compliance of safety procedures; ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.

  3. Coach, develop, and manage performance of direct reports.

  4. Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management processes and best practices.

  5. Ensure planned efficiency and performance standards are met or exceeded and that production is cost-effective.

  6. Work with the production, planning, purchasing, engineering, and quality functions to ensure operations meet production requirements and maintain customer service levels.

  7. Ensure manufacturing lead-time control, accuracy, and reliability.


Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  2. 10+ years of experience in progressively responsible manufacturing and/or production roles

  3. 5+ years of experience in management

  4. Advanced manufacturing systems/planning knowledge; ERP experience

  5. Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget

  7. Exceptional leadership, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal communication skills


Compensation: $116,000-$185,600
